In 2011, tablets made their entry into the point of sale industry. As early adopters worked through testing tablets at the checkout, they found one vital issue: Customers swiping their cards led to stress on the tablet’s magnetic stripe reader (MSR), resulting in bad reads and, ultimately a broken reader.
There were no iPad stands for business on the market that addressed this issue. Using our extensive industry knowledge, we designed a bracket system that would not only enclose the tablet but also secure the MSR. With our iPad stands for business, our customers saw instant results: a decrease in transaction errors and fewer card readers that needed to be replaced.
Today, VAULT is focused on creating innovative solutions for the hospitality, retail, healthcare, entertainment, event, and other industries that serve unique purposes and not taking a one-size-fits-all mentality towards our products. VAULT strives for a culture of caring and giving back. In 2015, VAULT began partnering with local charitable organizations to create the EAT program. In its first year, we helped feed 25 families in High Point, North Carolina, at Thanksgiving. Since then we have more than doubled every year our efforts to become a bigger supporter of our local community and its residents.
Our mission is to help channel partners deliver reliable solutions that reflect our extensive industry knowledge and our ability to quickly custom design enclosures. While VAULT began with a vision to create the ideal commercial iPad stand, we have quickly evolved into an organization with a reputation for delivering innovative solutions for any application or environment.
