IDENTITY

 The VAULT logo uses two colors: Red and Cool Grey (Grey is varied based on the background see below). Primarily the logo should be used on a white background for maximum impact and clarity.

Dosis Typeface

Dosis is a very simple, rounded, sans serif family. The lighter weights are minimalist. The bolder weights have more personality. The medium weight is nice and balanced. The overall result is a family that’s clean and modern, and can express a wide range of voices & feelings.

Where it’s not possible to use the brands main type faces, Dosis should be implored as a title font to copy. Similar spacing treatments should be used and setting type online, though we recognize that sometimes exact type settings is a challenge. proper line spacing and leading will be key in constant visual style across all media. Heavier weights should used on rare occasion, if at all, and italics should be used in special cases.

Open Sans Typeface

Open Sans is a humanist sans serif typeface. Open Sans was designed with an upright stress, open forms and a neutral, yet friendly appearance. It was optimized for print, web, and mobile interfaces, and has excellent legibility characteristics in its letterforms.

Open Sans should be use as a body copy and some titling. Heavier weights should used on rare occasion, if at all, and italics should be used in special cases.

COLORS

Besides consistent use of logos, another unifying visual component is consistent use of color. The VAULT color palette was created to complement the signature red. the secondary colors are only to compliment the monochromatic primary color palette

ICONOGRAPHY

All icons should reinforce the brand by conveying "safe" or "enclosed" this is conveyed by using a thicker border (3x) that encapsulates the artwork. All artwork should be designed with a 2X or 1x line weight. Icons should always use the brand palette. A single color should be used for all icons.

SHADED

Shaded is the preferred style of icons for digital and halftone based printing. The color values should be a tint of the main color and vary based on the desired depth. There should be about 30% color coverage where possible to give all icons a consistent composition.

LINE ART

Line art can be used for very small applications (less than 60px) or where color gradients are not permitted. There should be about 30% color coverage where possible to give all icons a consistent composition.

LABELS

Labels should be one used where possible (10px/10pt + applications) and one line height top margin. Main icon color should be used unless color is unreadable in which Cool Gray 10c (Hex #646569) should be used
